Salary Range: Band 6 AUD $108,005 – $119,507 per annum + superannuation + a possible further benefits package dependent on the skills and experience of the successful candidate (Remuneration stated is for the full-time positions)

Work type: Permanent Full-time

Location: Hybrid (Combination of Brisbane City office and work from home)

The Role

The Experienced Engineer Drainage Design role is critical in supporting the delivery of Council’s drainage infrastructure programs. The role is responsible for undertaking and managing projects including conducting investigations, planning, modelling and preparing designs in the areas of urban storm water drainage, water supply and sewerage reticulations.

This technical Engineer role requires high level knowledge, expertise and experience in urban storm water drainage management and design including proficiency in the use of AutoCAD and 12D software programs.

We are seeking a team player, someone who is willing to contribute positively to a busy and highly agile environment.

To be successful you will have:

  • high level proficiency in use of CADD systems such as AutoCAD and 12D
  • good interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team environment
  • high level technical competency in urban storm water drainage, water supply and sewerage reticulation
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and a “C” class driver’s licence.
