The Role
Provide strong and proactive leadership and management of all scheduled arboriculture maintenance for operational delivery within the Public Space Operations Branch.
We are looking for a strong leader who has significant experience in scheduling, delivering on time, to achieve performance excellence, across a diverse team. Identify and understand industry best practice ideally within the arboriculture industry, taking ownership to ensure an efficient and productive scheduling operation.
Based at our South Regional Business Centre in Yeerongpilly, you will lead a team of up 10 direct reports, guiding and mentoring in a changing environment. Your strong relationship management and communication skills will be relied upon, as you work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders.
Knowledge of Six Sigma or LEAN practices, along with experience in developing and streamlining process efficiencies across scheduling functions will be highly desirable.
To be successful you will have:
- demonstrated evidence of capabilities in Council’s Leadership Blueprint
- experience in delivering service reports under
- demonstrated experience in efficient planning and scheduling
- high level communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to undertake high level analysis, problem solving and negotiation skills
- excellent time management and organisational skills
- proven ability to develop, monitor, review and improve proactive and reactive maintenance schedules and plans.
It is a mandatory requirement of this role to have a C Class driver licence.
