Project Manager – GAS
Zinfra partners with companies across the utility and infrastructure sectors to deliver maintenance, operations, engineering, and construction services. For our partners our work is crucial to maintaining the safety and reliability of their electricity and gas transmission and distribution assets.
About the role:
We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to oversee Zinfra’s Gas Transmission Projects across New South Wales, Victoria, and Queensland. These projects, part of the annual Capital and Operating Works Plan, range from $100K to $10M, span multiple years, and encompass various disciplines such as Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical and Instrumentation. While some project sites may be remote, site work typically lasts only a few weeks.
Experience / responsibilities will include:
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and successful project completion.
- Engage and communicate with stakeholders, providing regular updates and facilitating collaboration.
- Identify and mitigate risks, ensure compliance with Zinfra’s safety standards, and maintain quality control.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, track expenditures, and report on financial performance.
- Lead and motivate project teams, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative environment.
About you:
- Must have – Engineering or construction project management experience. (Preferred experience delivering utility-based projects)
- Must have – GAS Transmission experience
- Preferred – Bachelor of Engineering (recognised by Engineers Australia).
- Preferred – Diploma of Project Management or better.
- Preferred – Knowledge and application of Project Management methodology (ie. PMBOK or similar).
- Have the ability to travel to remote project sites, for short durations i.e. 1 week
