Overview of our role
Working under the direction of the Communications Manager - Zinfra, and based within the Group’s Corporate Affairs team, the Communications and Marketing Advisor will develop, lead, and deliver communications products, advice, and support to raise the profile of the Zinfra brand as an employee of choice and trusted partner in energy internally and with clients, prospective employees and our communities. On a day to day basis the role will be responsible for:
- Marketing and Media Delivery: supporting the strategic delivery of the Zinfra marketing and communications strategy
- Content development: designing, developing and delivering communication materials and products such as articles, newsletters, videos, social media campaigns and more to build Zinfra’s profile internally and externally
- Campaign reporting: measuring and reporting the effectiveness of marketing and communication campaigns and identifying key insights for continual improvement
- Marketing Activation : supporting the delivery of external events, sponsorships and the Corporate Social Responsibility program/activities to build Zinfra’s connections with our clients, the industry, and communities in which we operate
- Stakeholder management: partnering with and guiding key teams members such as the Leadership team, Recruitment team, Business Development, Business Unit teams, and the larger Communications team to provide key advice and lead the delivery of communication plans to align with strategic plans and branding guidelines
- Channel management and Reporting: management of key external communication channels such as the website and social media channels
- Brand Ambassador: Being a key ambassador of the Zinfra brand ensuring alignment with brand and story guidelines across the business
The Communications Advisor will also provide ad hoc support across the broader Group Communications team across both internal and external channels.
A little about you
- You are a can-do, team orientated person, with the ability to be flexible to changing needs and comfortable in working autonomously to deliver impactful outcomes.
- Experience in developing, delivering, and evaluating marketing and communication plans and strategies to deadline and with solid attention to detail
- The creativity and experience in developing engaging content to bring to life the Zinfra story
- Business partnering, with experience providing communications advice and support to a broad range of stakeholders from peers to leaders and operations and field based teams
- While experience and knowledge of the energy industry is beneficial, attitude, willingness to learn and ability to navigate around challenges to get the job done will be highly regarded.
Qualifications / certifications & Skills
- Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, media, PR, or, a related discipline.
- Experience using Hootsuite, social media platforms and CMS.
- Experience using graphic design and editing software such as Canva, Adobe Suite, PowerPoint and other software solutions
