About the role

We are currently seeking an experienced Grounds & Facilities Maintainer based at our Greystanes depot working on various Jemena facility sites. You will be issued with a Tool of Trade vehicle for the role and ideally you will be based in Sydney.

Key Responsibilities include

  • General grounds maintenance
  • Operation of plant and equipment including, but not limited to mowers, brush cutters, hedgers, blowers, chainsaws and spraying equipment
  • Information monitoring and reporting
  • Adhering to company policy and procedures
  • Establish and maintain a safe worksite complying with all OHS&E requirements
  • Daily travel throughout greater Sydney, including Wollongong and the Hunter (with occasional overnight travel)
  • Initial industry specific induction and then annual compliance training

About You

To be considered for this role you will require previous experience working in general groundskeeping, operating and maintaining machinery and equipment, and able to tow a trailer.

  • Enjoy labour intensive work in the great outdoors
  • Able to work autonomously or within a small team
  • High attention to detail, good decision maker who can show initiative and the ability to work to deadlines
  • Valid driver’s license - HR desirable
  • White/Blue Card
  • First Aid - desirable
