The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Community Engagement Lead to join our team and manage community engagement for infrastructure construction projects. In this key role, you will develop and implement comprehensive engagement plans, engage, build and maintain strong relationships with the community and other stakeholders, and ensure all communication activities meet the highest standards.
You’ll bring experience in conducting site intelligence assessments, managing day-to-day stakeholder communications and consultation (including door knocking and responding to inquiries and complaints), and maintaining accurate records of all community interactions for our client. Ultimately, you will play a key role in fostering collaboration and maintaining positive community relations.
You will bring:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications / IAP2 or equivalent certification desirable but not essential
- 5+ years' experience in community engagement for infrastructure projects, including planning and implementation
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently and resolve issues effectively
- Familiarity with local government processes and community engagement best practices is preferred but not essential
- The ability to actively engage with the Northern Beaches community (face to face) and occasionally work from our Western Sydney office in Girraween - a company vehicle is provided for all of your travel needs
