Turn your compassion into a career! We are looking for friendly and passionate individuals to support older people to remain in their own homes, empowering them to live as independently as possible.

Drawing on your compassion, you will tailor your support to meet individual customer needs through a range of duties including cleaning, laundry and meal preparation.

There are no formal skills or experience required for this role. You could be a student looking for hours to suit study requirements, or perhaps looking for a career change to a job with flexibility. All you need to have is a genuine passion to support older people to live their best possible life in the comfort of their own home.

The role of a Home Service Worker can also be a great starting point to see if you're interested to upskill as a qualified Care Worker.

What can you expect to be doing?

  • Drive to and from customer's homes in your own car (99 cents per/km reimbursement provided). Customers are based all across Adelaide, so we can ensure you drive within the region you live.
  • Provide a range of support services such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and much more!
  • Build friendly relationships with a broad range of customers and their families.
  • Adhere to care plans and maintain excellent communication with the central care team regarding customer's health and wellbeing.

What do you need to bring?

  • A genuine passion to support older people to maintain their independence
  • A current driver’s licence (P1 or above) and insured vehicle (third party insurance accepted)
  • Current Covid-19 and flu vaccinations
