Where can the industry take me?

Becoming a plumber isn’t just about fixing toilets, doing house calls and dealing with drainage. In fact, you might be surprised at how varied your opportunities could be! You may be involved in;

Fire protection- installing, repairing and maintaining fire protection systems for commercial, domestic and industrial properties.

Gas fitting- installing and testing hot water services, heaters cooktops, and other fittings for natural or manufactured gases.

Irrigation- designing, installing and connecting irrigation systems for water supply connections and domestic pumps.

Just to name a few!

The role will see you trained up in various aspects of plumbing such as;

• Repair, install and maintain plumbing systems
• Completing maintenance
• Working within budgets and time frames
• Understanding and installing drains and waste systems
•  Installing sinks, toilets, showers, etc.
• Installation of water supply systems

This is a fantastic career-start opportunity to become qualified. As a plumbing apprentice, you will receive both on and off the job training working towards CPC32420 Certificate III Plumbing which will see you employed directly by Kestrel through to completion!

About You

• Current Driver’s Licence
• Completion of a plumbing work placement or pre-app (desirable)
• Able to commit to a four year apprenticeship
• White card prior to commencement
