Our client, a highly respected locally based Horticulture business who specialises in garden maintenance.

The Role:

The successful candidate will undertake a Certificate III in Horticulture while learning all aspects of the role on the job.

The successful candidate will be trained up in all aspects of Horticulture including:

  • Pruning & Hedging
  • Soft Landscaping
  • Mowing & whipper snipping
  • Assist in planting and transplanting seeds, bulbs, flowers, shrubs, trees and lawns
  • General garden maintenance

This is a fantastic career-start opportunity to become qualified. As a trainee, you will receive both on and off the job training working towards Certificate III in Horticulture which will see you employed directly by Kestrel by up to two years.

Please note that relevant Apprentice/Trainee award rates will apply.

 

Requirements

  • Must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident with the right to work in Australia
  • Current Driver’s Licence preferred
  • Work in a team environment with strong work ethic
  • Ensure safety procedures are followed
  • Physically fit & love working outdoors
