Based in Wangaratta and very much an established local Plasterer, is now offering an extremely good opportunity for a motivated individual to become an Apprentice Plasterer and become qualified in this industry.
Our client, a highly respected locally based Plasterer who specialises mainly in newer houses and renovation work, is now offering an opportunity for a hard-working, self-motivated, and most importantly, passionate individual to commence an Apprenticeship in Plastering.
The Role
Working in the building construction industry on new establishments and renovated dwellings you will learn all aspects involved in plastering.
The successful candidate will be trained up in all aspects of Plastering including:
- Preparation and completion of plastering
- Surface preparation, sanding cleaning and priming
- Instillation of plaster board on walls and roofs
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
This is a fantastic career-start opportunity to become trade qualified. As an apprentice, you will receive both on and off the job training working towards Certificate III in Wall & Ceiling Lining which will see you employed directly by Kestrel by up to 4 year's.
Please note that relevant Apprentice/Trainee award rates will apply.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skill
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Reliable, honest physically fit and healthy
- 100% commitment to undertaking this 4 year apprenticeship
- White card prior to commencement
- Excellent communication skills and a positive can do attitude
