 We currently have an opportunity for a Commissioning Coordinator to join our Completions and Commissioning team. Our new Commissioning Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the commissioning and delivery of mission critical equipment, safe working practices, issue resolution, and facility handover. The primary objective of the Commissioning Coordinator is to ensure the testing and commissioning activities for the Data Centre are effectively planned, coordinated, and executed in accordance with the contract schedule and budget.

What you’ll do:

  • Work alongside the internal and external stakeholders to align project commissioning and delivery with project objectives
  • Assist the Commissioning Lead onsite to execute commissioning activities
  • Develop/ review project specific commissioning management/validation documents and procedures
  • Assist in project commissioning meetings and prepare weekly and Monthly Commissioning Status reports
  • Provide technical commentary on drawings, manuals, and technical submittals
  • Manage the QA and test script execution processes of MEP equipment/start-up as per design specification
  • Document and report scope change items
  • Provide technical and operational support to both field teams and clients throughout the project lifecycle, promoting proper service levels and customer satisfaction

About you:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical), or equivalent trade background
  • Prior experience on large building projects within services engineering, consulting, or coordination
  • Strong knowledge of Data Centre infrastructure, including electrical, control systems, and facilities operations is desired
  • Ability to provide extensive knowledge of relevant field to solve unique problems
  • Sound construction knowledge and understanding of building / construction trades
  • Proven experience coordinating subcontractors / consulting engineers
  • Well versed with quality and safety requirements on construction projects
  • Well-developed planning, program, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong collaboration, interpersonal and communication skills
