What you’ll do:
- Oversee site operations to ensure alignment with project programs, budgets, and safety standards.
- Ensure trades work safely and cooperatively, meeting contractual obligations.
- Implement and follow Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality processes, fostering a safety culture on site.
- Use Hammertech to report on site operations and conduct regular Health and Safety reviews.
- Run daily pre-start meetings, manage risks, ensure proper inductions and records, and mentor junior team members.
Who you are:
- Passion for the construction industry with a strong focus on safety and experience as a Site Supervisor in Tier 1 or Tier 2 environments.
- Understanding of best practice construction and safety methodologies, with a track record of safe, high-quality project delivery.
- Experience across various project types, including commercial, residential, and education, with a focus on new builds and fitouts.
- Ability to supervise teams, subcontractors, and consultants, collaborate effectively, and manage multiple priorities, with experience in Hammertech or similar systems.
Who you are:
- 5+ years of construction site-based experience in safety roles, with a passion for creating safe workplaces.
- Diploma or Cert IV in Occupational Health and Safety, and knowledge of relevant legislation.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders.
- Well-developed time management, organisational skills, and experience with Hammertech.
