Salary Range: C8 - AUD1,540 per week plus overtime and penalty rates, 14% super + 17.5% leave loading, uniforms, 38-hour week, nine-day fortnight (Remuneration stated is for the full-time positions)

Transport for Brisbane is a division that brings together Commercial and Contract Services, Engineering and Asset Management, Strategy and Network Services, Transport Operations and Future Transport Readiness. Together, these branches help keep our city moving.
Our Branch
We manage first and second line bus fleet maintenance across 8 garage locations, setting fleet maintenance standards. We procure products and services, investigate incidents, manage major projects, and coordinate divisional technology requirements.
The Role
You are responsible for the manufacturing, repair, maintenance and servicing of our bus fleet, plant and other equipment, working in our safety focussed spray booth and workshop at Toowong. Bring your creativity and attention to detail to spray paint our repairs and maintain our Transport for Brisbane bus fleet.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working on their own as well as being part of an efficient and hard-working team.
You will have the opportunity use your interpersonal skills and strong communication and customer service awareness, to support our apprentices and encourage teamwork and business improvements.
We want to hear from you if you have:
- ability to complete work orders, paint usage sheets and quotes for smash repairs
- a great attention to detail, with a strong history of spray painting ability
- an easy going nature, keen to work as a team player
- ability to prioritise work and take initiative to get the job done.
Possession of a Trade Certificate Level III in Automotive refinishing Technology or equivalent and a C class drivers' licence is a mandatory requirement for this role.
