Your opportunity:
As our valued Procurement Analyst, you will play a vital role in supporting the Category Manager and broader procurement team in ensuring the smooth operation of Backoffice procurement activities. This role focuses on managing supplier processes, responding to internal and external inquiries, supporting the management of procurement-related systems, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies. You’ll draw on your analytical skills and attention to detail in supporting our operational efficiency.
You'll make impact by:
- Facilitating and managing the onboarding and offboarding processes of suppliers, contract creation, due diligence, and ongoing maintenance of vendor master data ensuring compliance with company policies and requirements.
- Monitoring the procurement mailbox, address queries, and ensure prompt responses to internal and external stakeholders, directing queries to appropriate team members where necessary.
- Supporting initiatives aimed at improving procurement processes and workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending improvements.
- Preparing and coordinate responses for procurement-related audit requests, working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
- Assisting in data collection and reporting to support procurement activities, including supplier performance metrics and compliance monitoring.
- Continuously seeking opportunities to streamline and improve procurement processes.
What you’ll bring:
- Commercial Degree qualified or equivalent.
- Highly desirable to have experience in a procurement, supply chain, or purchasing support role.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with intranet management systems.
- Familiarity with procurement systems, such as Oracle Cloud, and working knowledge of procurement best practices.
- Experience in responding to audit requests and managing procurement data/reporting.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience managing supplier onboarding/offboarding and compliance processes will be a differentiator.
- Working knowledge of procurement processes, policies and procedures is desirable.
- Basic understanding of commercial contract terms and structures will be well regarded.
