The Demand Planner is responsible for the Demand Planning of the Fixed, device inventory. across Consumer and SME business units supporting all TPG’s brands. The role works closely with strategic partners and cross functional TPG business stakeholders owning all day-to-day operational devices demand planning and plays a strategic role in mid/long-term inventory planning and cash flow management. The role works cross-functionally within TPG across vertical business units, supporting device supply delivering best-in-market propositions and channel execution, all in pursuit of driving exceptional customer outcomes and sustainable growth for TPG.

  • Develop effective demand forecasting models aligned to demand patterns for Fixed device product categories producing accurate and timely reporting.
  • Providing analysis and communication of forecast to aligned inventory position. 
  • Make recommended adjustments to forecast and inventory targets based on changes in demand and market trends.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of outputs and inputs to the demand planning process
  • Engagement and management of Vendors across all CPFR related activities.
  • The role is also responsible for ensuring efficient delivery and receipt of all purchased inventory into our 3PL and communication of such receipts whilst also managing the set-up of new SKUs in all systems.
  • Managing Vendor delivery discrepancies and issues with our 3PL and Vendor providing feedback on improvements to all parties involved.
  • Ensuring Purchase orders are reconciled with our 3PL and Accounts Payable teams
  • Participate in S&OP meetings for the Fixed device product categories to provide demand insights and recommendations, aligning sales forecasts.
  • Collaborate with Partners on inventory supply planning (CPFR), such as, lead times, constraints and back-order management and supply improvements.
  • Critical to this role is active participation in launch planning and inventory management of large device launch activities. Manage the implementation and development of supplier performance measurement
  • Monitor and analyse inventory levels to ensure optimal inventory turnover driving cash flow management targets aligned to WOC targets. Identification of supply risks and issue, communicating to stake holders in a timely manner.
  • Create inventory projections for management review (Fortnightly/Monthly/Quarterly) and EOFY inventory management in partnership and consultation with Key Stakeholders.
  • Prepare PO recommendations on weekly basis for continued inventory supply and PO approval compliance aligned to cash flow and WOC targets supporting obsolescence targets and provisions. Manage purchase order administration and execution including the PO approval process
  • Work closely with 3PL and internal supply chain logistics team for operational support.
  • Review, create and maintain products in the Company’s ERP systems.
  • Perform detailed analysis of TPG’s performance with your partners versus the market (including trends in both domestic and international markets) to facilitate informed decision making and effective strategic planning.

What you'll bring

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Demand Planning and strategic S&OP Partner Management (Internal/External).
  • Excellent understanding of Telco and mobility markets with product launch experience.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with strong written and verbal communication.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Understanding of demand planning protocols.
  • Advanced level of Microsoft BI, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in implementing process improvements/efficiencies.
  • High attention to detail and ability to operate with cross functional teams in fast paced and dynamic environments with the ability to manage ongoing change.
  • Solid prioritisation, time management and personal organisation skills.
  • Ability to be flexible with both team based and autonomous working cycles.
