With seven offices throughout Australia our team work on projects that transform and improve the lives of Australians every day. This role can be based in Hobart, Melbourne or Sydney.

The Opportunity: 

  • Lead flood modelling activities on infrastructure projects;
  • Responsible for overseeing the design, coordination and project reporting on hydraulic projects within the infrastructure space to meet the program, scope, quality and financial requirements while achieving positive design outcomes;
  • Work on various scales of projects across the life cycle – concept, design & construction, management, assessment and end of life;
  • Engaging with government clients, contractors and project stakeholders to drive outstanding service delivery;
  • Provide effective leadership, direction, technical advice and championing a culture of delivering on quality and client expectations;
  • Provide mentorship to junior flood modellers
  • Role model our expected quality and OH&S behaviours both within project delivery and on the job.

What you bring: 

  • Technical leadership skills, with a focus on infrastructure projects;
  • 5 - 10 years experience in flood modelling, surface water and river flooding;
  • An extensive knowledge of GIS, TUFLOW, DRAINS;
  • An additional knowledge of 12D or other civil works packages.
  • A knowledge of flood related planning approvals
  • A knowledge of Australian Rainfall and Runoff is essential.
