The Opportunity: 

We are looking for a talented People & Culture professional to join our dynamic team during an exciting time of transformation within our business. As a people & culture team we have big plans for 2024/2025 and you will play a key role in supporting our p&c strategies and enhancing our employee experience that align with our goals to achieve organisational success.

Some of the key areas for focus are:

  • Talent Acquisition & Succession Plannning: Play a key role in attracting and hiring top talent for pitt&sherry. From crafting compelling job ads to screening candidates, managing interviews, generating contracts, and ensuring smooth onboarding, you'll be at the heart of our recruitment efforts.
  • Employee Engagement Surveys: Get hands-on with Culture Amp, designing surveys, collecting valuable feedback, analyzing data, and sharing insights that drive our business forward
  • Employee Relations, Compliance & Policies: Support employee relations cases, conduct investigations, and ensure our HR policies are up-to-date. You'll also be instrumental in guiding employee exits with professionalism and care.
  • Remuneration & Benefits: Help keep us competitive by supporting market research on salaries and helping design performance-related bonuses.
  • Learning & Development: Partner with the P&C team to deliver leadership support, enhance our employee experience, identify training needs, and manage our online training platform—empowering our team to continually develop their skills.
  • HR Compliance & Policies: Be the go-to expert on HR policies, regularly updating them and providing guidance to employees and managers to ensure compliance and best practices.
  • Ad-hoc Projects: From DE&I initiatives to tech and systems enhancements, our Alumni Program, and our Graduate Program, you'll have the opportunity to get involved in a number of exciting projects that shape our company culture.
  • Ongoing improvement and efficiency: We're all about getting better every day. You'll play a key role in identifying and implementing process, policy, and operational improvements that drive efficiency and effectiveness.

What you bring: 

  • 3+ years of experience in an internal recruitment role and/or HR administration experience with a focus on generalist HR activities
  • Desired: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field
  • Understanding of HR processes and programs,
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate with leaders and employees at all levels.
  • Experience with creating process improvement initiatives and rolling out the process and supporting the implementing of successful HR programs.
  • Have a growth mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Team oriented, you enjoy pulling together to achieve team goals
