The Opportunity: 

  • Be the face of our Hobart office and welcome clients and visitors who contact or attend the local office
  • Continually identify areas for improvement to optimise the workplace experience.
  • Facilitate a seamless onboarding process for new employees
  • Plan, organise and coordinate workplace events in line with company wide initiatives and office specific events
  • Administration support, providing cross functional team support and coverage
  • Formatting of documents for project delivery.
  • Organising training and travel arrangements
  • Contribute to the internal communication channel sharing updates with the wider business
  • Assist the Health, Safety, Sustainability and Environment Manager in maintaining company Integrated Management System (IMS
  • Pool Car administration, servicing & vehicle care (Valid drivers license is required)
  • Office Coordination (eg stationery, mail/couriers, basic facilities management)

What you bring: 

  • Minimum 2 + years experience in a fast-paced office environment working with multiple stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience in a role centered around people and focused on delivering exceptional client or customer service.
  • Quick learner with the capability to adapt to digital tools and new systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including written communication.
  • Team-oriented collaborator with the ability to influence colleagues at all levels within the organization.
  • Friendly and energetic personality with a genuine enthusiasm for fostering an inclusive, welcoming atmosphere.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and resilient, you thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, people-focused environment.
  • MS Office skills at an intermediate to advanced level preferred
  • A team player but is comfortable also working autonomously
