Administration Lead (Pet Boarding)

At Kip Brisbane, the Administration Lead is a key part of the leadership team and integral to the success and reputation of the site. Leading a small yet vibrant team, the Administration Lead is responsible for cultivating strong client relationships, serving as the subject-matter expert for best care for each client and pet, and coaching our reception team to deliver exceptional customer service outcomes.

The ideal candidate should be available to work part-time (36 hours per week) on Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (additional days to be discussed), during the hours of 7.30am to 5pm. Additionally, the candidate must be available to work throughout all school holiday periods, including Christmas and Easter.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Manage bookings and collect key pet information and payments.
  • Contribute to and supervise the process of bookings, check- ins and check- out of pets.
  • Provide feedback and coaching to team when process is being incorrectly completed.
  • Effectively plan and delegate tasks on a daily basis to team members.
  • Ensure our teams are delivering on the pupdates, activities and add-ons that means that Kip provides the best service and care in market.
  • Provide administration support for site manager to ensure we are operating in a safe, effective, and professional manner.
  • Provide positive and constructive feedback of performance to team on a daily basis to build a high-performance culture.
  • Assist site manager with the training and development of team members.
  • Respond to any pet health issues with urgency.
  • Promptly provide pet health updates to owners in a clear, concise, and effective way in line with our processes.
  • Assist with the completion of end of day, end of month and end of year checks and processes.

Experience/Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills and proven experience providing exceptional customer service.
  • Passion for problem solving and high attention to detail.
  • A can-do attitude, initiative to get extra work done.

  • Quick learner and a willingness to get your hands dirty.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a cool head under pressure.
  • Competent with computer systems with intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
