Site Manager (Pet Boarding)

At Kip Imparra, the Site Manager is a key member of the onsite leadership team, occupying a pivotal role in driving business success and growth. In collaboration with the Assistant Manager and Leads, the Site Manager assumes overall responsibility for site operations (with access to support functions within Head Office - we're here to help you succeed!), spearheading initiatives to drive growth, mentoring and coaching the team to achieve their full potential, and ensuring exceptional care and enrichment for all pets during their stay.
The ideal candidate will be available to work hours between 7am-6pm, Monday through Sunday. Availability to work across all school holiday periods (including Christmas and Easter) is required. Competitive remuneration based on experience and potential for accommodation provided on-site for the successful candidate.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Working in the day-to-day operations of our facility
- Liaising with customers, answer enquiries and manage bookings
- Delivering a high level of customer service and quality of care
- Lead, motivate and coach a high performing team
- Maintain social media page and field enquiries
- Staff training and guidance, in line with company policy
- Regular assessment of property needs including maintenance
- Flexibility to work weekends when required and to not take leave during holidays/peak periods
- Monthly Inventory management
- Responsible for acting and investigating any animal health concerns
Experience/Skills:
- Previous paid animal care experience is highly regarded.
- Must have previous experience leading a team of people.
- Management of site based operations is highly regarded but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills and proven experience providing exceptional customer service.
- Passion for problem solving and high attention to detail.
- Time management skills, a can-do attitude and initiative to exceed outcomes and expectations at high quality.
- Quick learner and a willingness to get your hands dirty with on-the-job experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a cool head under pressure.
- Competent with computer systems with intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
