About the role
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Fleet and Plant Maintenance Coordinator the "in-life" scheduling of our diverse fleet of owned, leased, and short-term hired plant and equipment. This role is key to ensuring the seamless operation of our assets and will involve working closely with internal teams and external vendors to maintain optimal performance.
As part of the role, you will be provided with a tool-of-trade vehicle to accommodate travel requirements within the state.
Key Responsibilities include
- Coordinate all service and repair requests with the approved maintenance service providers
- Build and maintain a strong supplier relationship to ensure effective coordination and management
- Update and maintain designated business systems with relevant Asset and Maintenance information and monitor asset performance
- Audit suppliers works, competencies and compliance
- Ensure that all Fleet procured is fit for purpose and meets all regulatory requirements
- Monitor, assess and interpret data for reporting
About You
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record in managing the maintenance of fleets, plants, and equipment, along with robust skills in scheduling and strategic planning.
- Strong aptitude for critical thinking and problem solving
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated professional with a proven track record of meeting deadlines
- Ability to effectively communicate information to internal and external stakeholders
- Good working knowledge of Word, Excel and SAP (desirable)
- Relevant trade/tertiary qualification (Diesel Mechanic - desirable) or substantial experience working in a relevant maintenance discipline
- Current Australian drivers licence
