About the role

The Fleet and Plant Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for the “in life” scheduling of group owned, leased and short term hired, Plant & Equipment.

Key Responsibilities include

• Coordinate all service and repair requests with the approved maintenance service providers
• Build and maintain a strong supplier relationship to ensure effective coordination and management
• Update and maintain designated business systems with relevant Asset and Maintenance information and monitor asset performance
• Audit suppliers works, competencies and compliance
• Ensure that all Fleet procured is fit for purpose and meets all regulatory requirements
• Monitor, assess and interpret data for reporting
• There is a tool of trade vehicle provided due to travel requirements within the state

About You

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record in managing the maintenance of fleets, plants, and equipment, along with robust skills in scheduling and strategic planning.

• Strong aptitude for critical thinking and problem solving
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated professional with a proven track record of meeting deadlines
• Ability to effectively communicate information to internal and external stakeholders
• Good working knowledge of Word, Excel and SAP (desirable)
• Relevant trade/tertiary qualification (Diesel Mechanic desirable) or substantial experience working in a relevant maintenance discipline
• Current Australian drivers licence
