In the role of Finance & Market Price Risk Management – Summer Intern, you will support Enbridge’s Treasury team in a variety of ways including economic & market data analysis, market price risk assessments, and reporting.  It’s an excellent job for people who are studying Finance.

Placement Details:

This is a 4-month paid summer internship starting in May 2025, located in Calgary, AB.

What you will do:

  • Support market price risk assessment and mitigation related to foreign exchange, interest rates and commodity price risk.
  • Monitor economic releases and trends to support forecasting and decision making related to market prices.
  • Contribute to regular team reporting on market levels and hedging activities, including use of Bloomberg terminal data.
  • Provide support to other areas of Treasury & Enterprise Risk department, as needed.

Who you are: 

  • You are currently enrolled in a full time post-secondary program studying Business, Finance or equivalent and will be returning to full time school immediately following the work term. 
  • Experience with Bloomberg Professional software (Bloomberg Terminal) will be considered an asset.
  • Effective and professional communication both verbal and written with ability to communicate with all levels within the organization.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Solid computer skills and experience using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to actively and consistently represent Enbridge’s core values (Safety, Integrity, Respect, Inclusion, High performance). 

Working Conditions: 

  • Office-based role, located in Calgary, AB
  • Relocation assistance is not provided.
