In the role of Lands and Right of Way Support Summer Student, you will work as part of a diverse, innovative, and collaborative team to develop the practical skills needed to build your future career. This role is designed to provide the successful candidate an opportunity to work across multiple Lands and Right of Way (L&R) disciplines including Shared Services, Governance and Crossings management.  You will work with the L&R team to support various tasks across multiple streams of work. You will be exposed to various elements of L&R program controls and tasks and will be interacting with professionals across multiple departments.

You will use your critical thinking, communication, and analytical skills to support operational program goals and gain a broad understanding of how Lands and Right of Way supports Enbridge as an infrastructure owner and operator.

Placement Details:

This is a 4-month summer student placement starting in May, located in Calgary, AB or Edmonton, AB.

What you will do:

Have responsibility to support completion of the following activities including but not limited to:

  •  Learning Enbridge’s Crossings data systems and assisting with managing the crossings email workflows.
  • Learning and utilizing Enbridge’s Land database system
  • Organizing and preparing land files for off site storage
  • Reviewing and updating pipeline route sheets
  • Supporting Index Records Management
  • Scanning and Uploading documentation and records to various repository systems
  • Completing electronic data cleanup within data systems

Who you are: 

  • You are currently enrolled in a full time post-secondary program studying Land Administration or a related field and will be returning to full time school immediately following the work term. 
  • Effective and professional verbal and written communication, with the ability to communicate with all levels within the organization.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Solid computer skills and experience using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to actively and consistently represent Enbridge’s core values (Safety, Integrity, Respect, Inclusion and High Performance).

Working Conditions: 

  • Office based role, located in Calgary, AB or Edmonton, AB
  • Relocation assistance is not provided.

Please note that this is a role providing contract labour to Enbridge through Raise, who manages Enbridge’s Student Contractor Program. If you are selected for this position, you will be employed by Raise and will not be an employee of Enbridge.
