About the role

We are seeking a self-motivated, fast, and accurate Accounts Officer to join our Finance Team to undertake the administration of accounts payable. 

This is a great opportunity if you want a full-time, office-based role where you will be working in a small supportive team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Accurately entering invoices into Vista by Viewpoint within service level agreed timeframes;
• Ensuring all invoices are correctly authorised, including pricing and cost codes;
• Preparing and reconciling supplier statements;
• Answering supplier queries;
• Assisting the Accounts Payable Supervisor as required.

About you

Ultimately, we are looking for someone who is highly organised, can work autonomously with urgency, has keen attention to detail, and has the ability to process a high volume of invoices, efficiently and precisely.

If you already have experience in a similar position in civil construction, this will be highly regarded.

Whatever your background, you will need to have:

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounts payable;
• Be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion;
• Proven ability to multi-task and handle competing priorities;
• And be an Australian citizen/permanent resident or have a current visa allowing you the right to work in Australia.
