Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Lead to join our Residential Aged Care team at AnglicareSA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical governance, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing high-quality care to residents. You should be a proactive leader with the ability to mentor and support clinical teams, driving improvements in care practices and fostering a culture of inclusivity and respect.

What can you expect to be doing?

As the Clinical Lead, you will:

  • Provide contemporary evidence-based practice guidance and support to clinical care teams.
  • Assist in the operation and review of the Clinical Governance Framework, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Analyse clinical performance indicators to ensure the delivery of safe and effective care.
  • Coach and mentor home-based Clinical Leadership teams to enhance their competence and confidence.
  • Lead and promote a resident-driven service delivery model that respects individual needs.
  • Engage with clinical teams to foster critical thinking and improve communication skills.
  • Actively participate in governance committees and leadership meetings to improve customer outcomes.

What do you need to bring?

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in a clinical leadership position within the aged care sector. 
  • Strong understanding of clinical governance, best practice guidelines & Aged Care Quality & Safety Commission standards. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate teams. 
  • A commitment to resident-centred care and inclusivity. 
  • Ability to analyse data and develop strategies for continuous improvement in clinical services. 
  • Dedication to promoting a safe and healthy work environment in line with WH&S policies.
