Situated in Prospect, our Early Learning centre provides the feeling of home, belonging and acceptance. Our centre offers an educational play-based program underpinned by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) which promotes each child's individual development.
Our Early Learning centre is complemented by our therapist-led Autism Specific and Inclusive Learning Environments programs, providing an inclusive setting where all children can be supported to reach their full potential and thrive.
Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a professional Early Learning Director with proven experience in leading a diverse team, who has a genuine passion for working with young children aged up to 6 years. You will oversee the centre's operations, ensuring exceptional early learning and childcare services for children and families, providing leadership for staff, and effectively managing rosters and budgets.
What can you expect to be doing?
- Leading the Early Learning services at our unique centre, working alongside our Autism specific therapy team, to foster an inclusive environment where children thrive.
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the centre in line with legislative requirements and best practice.
- Leading high quality, innovative, play-based programs that align with the EYLF.
- Providing leadership and mentoring to early learning teachers and educators to promote professional growth and excellence in teaching practices.
- Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with children, families, staff and key stakeholders.
What do you need to bring?
- Bachelor level qualifications in Early Childhood Education (preferred) or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent) as approved by Australian Children’s Education and Care Authority - ACECQA
- Previous site management experience in an early learning environment.
- Experience in leadership of people and management of rosters and budgets.
- Sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Standards (NQS) and Quality Improvement Plans (QIP).
- A passion to lead and inspire a team to reach their full potential.
