As a Grants Officer (Post-Award), you will provide guidance and administrative support for the University's research activities. This includes managing a portfolio of research grant services relating to the establishment, management, and reporting of research funds.
In this role you will:
- Provide advice on research establishment queries and issues to researchers, staff, and senior management.
- Show initiative and lateral thinking in performing responsibilities and activities to ensure continual improvement.
- Be a principal contact for matters relating to research grant establishment, management, administration, and reporting.
This continuing position is full time and will be located at the Callaghan Campus (Awabakal land).
What we offer
The remuneration for this position is from $77,858 to $90,316 + 17% superannuation and is commensurate with skills and experience.

- A degree without subsequent relevant work experience; or completion of an associate diploma and at least 2 years subsequent relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant work experience and/or education and training.
- High level computer literacy with demonstrated ability in word processing, spreadsheet and database applications including high level accuracy in maintaining records.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Demonstrated experience and commitment to process improvement and the ability to embrace change in response to new initiatives, strategic direction or external requirements.
- Ability to make sound decisions within your sphere of responsibility and take responsibility for delivering to plan and on time.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills including the ability to participate in a team environment demonstrating clear oral and written communication, respecting their input and working collaboratively.
