The Campus Services team is looking to appoint an experienced Facilities Asset and Planning Officer, ideally with a background supporting maintenance and asset planning teams. Working in a collaborative team providing services across the University, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and updating the Infrastructure and Facility Services asset database
  • Creating and reviewing maintenance schedules for planned works
  • Data capture of all assets and associated building operation and maintenance manuals
  • Analysis of work order activity, operational asset database maintenance and advanced monitoring and reporting

This fixed-term position is full time and will be located at the Callaghan Campus (Awabakal land).


How will you inspire us?

You will have:

  • Experience and specialist expertise or broad knowledge in technical or administrative fields, ideally specialised in maintenance or asset planning fields
  • Demonstrated experience in the operation of enterprise asset management software such as IBM Maximo as well as Microsoft 365 products to maintain data, create records and system and user administration and work order management. 
  • Demonstrated experience analysing data and reporting of key performance indicators in a maintenance environment, including statistical and summarised reporting.

The remuneration for this position is from $93,929 to $103,641 plus 17% superannuation and is commensurate with skills and experience.
