The story of Toby's Estate began in 1997, in the grungy streets of Woolloomooloo, armed with Mum’s garage, a beat-up coffee roaster and passion on tap, we set out on a wild adventure of business and coffee discovery. Not concerned with the frills of it all, but just that we were consistently consistent in roasting the tastiest coffee we could and treating all the people in our world like family. Fast forward 27 years we’re an energetic team and merry band of misfits united by a common passion for doing amazing things, and at the forefront of pushing the limits of premium specialty coffee. 

About the Role

At Toby's Estate, we know that great coffee is personal, and so are the relationships we build with our customers. As our Territory Manager, you'll be the frontline representation of Toby’s Estate, driving brand impact and fostering meaningful connections in the Sydney Metro region with occasional visits to regional NSW. You'll manage a portfolio of accounts while actively identifying and securing new business opportunities. Whether on the road, at industry events, or engaging with café owners, you’ll play a key role in growing our brand presence. Success in this role comes from building trust, providing value, and supporting small business owners to thrive.

About you:

At Toby’s, it’s more than just selling coffee, it’s about building partnerships. Our ideal candidate is driven, results-focused, and thrives in a competitive market. Sales experience is non-negotiable, but we’re open to candidates from outside the coffee industry who bring strong business development skills and a go-getter attitude. Coffee knowledge can be taught, but resilience, energy, and a passion for growth are essential. You’ll work autonomously while being part of a supportive, high-energy team that collaborates and shares insights. This role requires someone who can navigate market challenges, confidently discuss pricing, and build long-term customer relationships. Toby’s Estate is one of Sydney’s top coffee roasters, and we’re growing fast.
