Let’s start with the story:

Toby’s Estate was recently voted as the home of the No.1 Coffee Shop in the World, but the story of Toby's Estate began in 1997, in the grungy streets of Woolloomooloo. Armed with Mum’s garage, a beat-up coffee roaster, and passion on tap, we set out on a wild adventure of business and coffee discovery. We weren’t concerned with the frills- just focused on roasting consistently exceptional coffee and treating everyone in our world like family.

Fast forward 27 years, and we’re an energetic team and merry band of misfits, united by a shared passion for doing amazing things and pushing the limits of premium specialty coffee. We’re more than just cafés- we’re specialty coffee. Our business spans wholesale, Toby’s-owned cafés, retail, and a growing global footprint. Our cafés have earned global recognition, and, in this role, you’ll have the chance to leverage that brand equity as you shape how we show up in both our wholesale and café channels.

How you’ll make your mark:

This is an execution-first role, centre to that is action and impact. You’ll be bringing our wholesale and café marketing calendar to life where it counts. From trade shows and events to store-level activations and café partnerships, you’ll play a central role in shaping how our brand shows up in the real world.

Your focus? Making things happen. Pitch decks that win. Activations that turn heads. Materials that sales teams actually use. Whether you're rolling out a launch, briefing in creative, or co-piloting a campaign with ops, you’ll be embedded in the work and energised by the pace.

Working closely with sales, coffee, team, cafés, and creative, you'll guide the tactical rollout of initiatives that drive revenue, brand presence and consistency, and lasting connection. You won’t just support the activity - you’ll own it.

What you’ll own:

  • Execution of the Wholesale and Café marketing calendar, with trade the clear priority
  • End-to-end delivery of campaigns, events, trade shows, and promotions
  • Development of collateral and toolkits for sales and café ops (POS, merch, decks, social)
  • Café-level local area marketing support that’s practical, on-brand, and effective
  • Collaboration with the Creative Director to shape and finalise campaign concepts
  • Enablement of sales teams with the right tools and campaign assets
  • Management of suppliers, budgets, timelines, and approvals to keep things moving
  • Occasional agency engagement for PR or activation support
  • Post-campaign evaluation and insight to inform future activity

Who you’ll collaborate with:

Reporting into the Senior Brand Manager, this is a highly connected role. Expect to partner with:

  • The National Sales Manager on campaign alignment and execution in trade
  • The Creative Director on campaign storytelling and brand consistency
  • Café and operations leads to support frontline visibility
  • Key suppliers and PR/activation agencies as needed
  • Internal innovation, digital, and content teams to maintain cohesion across touchpoints

What you’ll bring to the table:

You’re a doer. A marketer who thrives in the thick of it - rolling up your sleeves, jumping into timelines, and making great work happen. You think commercially, act with pace, and collaborate with ease.

  • 3+ years in trade marketing, ideally in hospitality, food, or multi-site
  • Campaign and activation experience- from concept to post-campaign wrap
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with solid project and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work across multiple teams and keep momentum under pressure
  • Confident briefing, reviewing, and producing content with or without agencies
  • Working knowledge of PowerPoint/Canva and creative tools (Adobe suite a plus)
  • Experience in a branded, commercial environment where results matter

Make your mark on the ground, not just the strategy deck. Apply now.

Note: Screening for this role will commence from 21st April due to the easter break. No agencies please – the Internal recruitment team are handling this vacancy.
