About the role

This role is part of a small team that manages family accounts for all YMCA Early Learning Care, Before & After School Care and School Holiday Program customers. You will be the first point of contact (written and verbal) for our customers, providing exceptional customer service and support to the business.

Your role will involve:

  • Providing ELC Centre/OSHC specific information to families/customer enquiries
  • Assisting with the running of associated administration tasks and processes of the fortnightly direct debit
  • Professionally managing and recording all interactions via the Qikkids tracking system
  • Making calls relating to outstanding debt; attempt to collect outstanding payments, manage payment plans and suspend accounts where required
  • Completing transactional tasks and data entry with speed and accuracy
  • Working in a complex, high-volume work environment

This is a part time role and the hourly rate is $31.24. Flexible working arrangements working both from home and one day in our Box Hill state office.

About you

As a motivated Customer Service Officer you will:

  • Enjoy working in a structured, targeted environment to challenging KPIs
  • Have a passion for people and developing capabilities
  • Be friendly and genuinely enjoy communicating with and assisting our customers
  • Be self-driven and highly motivated with a strong attention to detail
  • Have some prior experience in account payment and debt management
  • Be highly organised with a passion for customer service

Knowledge and experience:

  • Ability to quickly learn and navigate POS and CRM systems
  • Customer Service background preferred
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Suite and confident IT skills
  • Experience using a Child Care Management Software - Qikkids/QK Enrol/My Family Lounge (desirable)
  • Experience working within the Child Care industry in an administration/accounts position (desirable)
