The Opportunity

As a Tech Lead at oOh!Media, you will oversee the team supporting and enhancing our range of critical campaign trading and delivery systems, ensuring the smooth operation of the business. You will play a pivotal role defining standards and procedures, running code reviews, technical troubleshooting, while also managing and mentoring a diverse team of developers. This position requires a blend of advanced technical expertise, strong leadership, and exceptional problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership:

  • Lead the development and deployment of business-critical software applications.
  • Set and maintain high standards for code quality, testing, and performance.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Ensure platforms are maintained to address emerging security concerns.

Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:

  • Address complex technical issues and bugs, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Analyze system performance and implement improvements.
  • Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of applications.

People Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of developers, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and career development discussions.
  • Facilitate team collaboration and communication.
  • Recruit, onboard, and train new team members

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Lead Developer, Software Engineer, or similar role.
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks (e.g. Node.js, React, .Net, Python).
  • Strong knowledge of database systems (SQL, Postgres) and AWS cloud platform.
  • Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor a engineers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
