Plant Mechanic - Field Service - Sydney Metro Region

The Opportunity:

As a Field Service Plant Mechanic, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment and systems at customer sites. Your role will require a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

Roster: A 5-day week, 8 hours per day.

Location: Based at our Fairfield Branch covering the Sydney Metro region.

Renumeration: Up to $49.96 base per hour + Super + Allowances. There is also additional paid overtime available. We provide a fully maintained Ute plus a Phone and Laptop to support you in this role as well as PPE.

Your Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Trade Certificate – Mobile Plant.
• Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) experience, preferably with Komatsu equipment, combined with field service exposure, including breakdowns and diagnostics, within the construction, Agriculture or mining sectors will also be highly regarded. 
• A minimum of C class Licence.
• A self-starter with the ability to follow the required job scope & critical path.
• Safety focused mindset is paramount.
• Good understanding of computer systems and Microsoft Office
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• A proven high level of customer service.
