As our sustained growth continues, we are looking for a proven and driven Electrical Engineer to join our team. You will be well versed with electrical building services engineering for commercial construction projects, and overseeing the delivery of design, installation, and commissioning. 

What you’ll do:

  • Operate as the internal subject matter expert for electrical engineering
  • Identify, troubleshoot and rectify technical issues for internal and external stakeholders
  • Drive compliance with design, authority and building code requirements
  • Review project designs, drawings, specifications and delivery briefs
  • Oversee design packages and support construction delivery
  • Provide quality control and assurance
  • Support witness testing and commissioning phase
  • Comply with relevant green building / sustainability rating requirements
  • Identify new technologies for improving operations
  • Travel to and work from various construction project sites
  • Work across multiple concurrent projects

About you:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering
  • 6 to 10+ years’ relevant industry experience in building services engineering
  • Prior experience on medium-to-large building services projects across a range of sectors
  • Thorough understanding and practical knowledge of the NCC / BCA and relevant building services requirements
  • Strong technical experience with electrical engineering and design management
  • Ability to operate as an in-house subject matter expert for electrical engineering
  • Sound construction knowledge and understanding of building / construction trades
  • Well versed with quality and safety requirements on construction projects
  • Exposure to pursuits as part of the bidding process
  • Well-developed problem solving, collaboration, interpersonal and communication skills
