About the Role

As the Director of Clinical Services, you will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of all clinical services at BHS. This is a pivotal role that ensures safe, high-quality, person-centred care while fostering a positive and collaborative workplace culture. You will work closely with the executive team to drive clinical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage diverse clinical teams, including Acute Ward, Urgent Care, Residential Aged Care, District Nursing, and more.
• Oversee the development and implementation of clinical governance frameworks.
• Promote a culture of continuous learning, professional development, and innovation.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulatory requirements (NSQHS, NDIS, Aged Care Quality Standards).
• Collaborate with community partners and external stakeholders to optimise health outcomes.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will be a dynamic and proactive nursing professional with a strong track record in clinical leadership.

Essential Criteria:

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
• Postgraduate qualifications in Nursing, Health Administration, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in a senior clinical leadership role.
• Comprehensive knowledge of clinical governance, quality, and risk management principles.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multidisciplinary teams.

Desirable:

• Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
• Experience in rural or regional healthcare settings.
• Proven ability to lead clinical innovation and change management initiatives.
