About the Role
As the Director of Clinical Services, you will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of all clinical services at BHS. This is a pivotal role that ensures safe, high-quality, person-centred care while fostering a positive and collaborative workplace culture. You will work closely with the executive team to drive clinical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage diverse clinical teams, including Acute Ward, Urgent Care, Residential Aged Care, District Nursing, and more.
- Oversee the development and implementation of clinical governance frameworks.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning, professional development, and innovation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulatory requirements (NSQHS, NDIS, Aged Care Quality Standards).
- Collaborate with community partners and external stakeholders to optimise health outcomes.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will be a dynamic and proactive nursing professional with a strong track record in clinical leadership.
Essential Criteria:
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- Postgraduate qualifications in Nursing, Health Administration, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in a senior clinical leadership role.
- Comprehensive knowledge of clinical governance, quality, and risk management principles.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multidisciplinary teams.
Desirable:
- Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
- Experience in rural or regional healthcare settings.
- Proven ability to lead clinical innovation and change management initiatives.
