Thes roles consists of assisting with catering and cleaning duties in an acute and residential aged care services at Beechworth Health Service.

You will effectively and efficiently provide the safe preparation of food and cleaning tasks that are of a high standard for all residents, visitors, clients and staff at BHS whilst at all times ensuring that safe work practices are strictly adhered to.

Tasks include food preparation, plating of meals and cleaning within the kitchen and general areas of the campus.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate the following attributes:

Evidence of ability to work to a high standard with minimal supervision and commitment to work as part of a team

Evidence of interpersonal skills, with a friendly manner when dealing with residents, patients, clients, staff & community members

Genuine desire to work in the hospitality service and perform cleaning duties within a health service environment

Evidence of good personal hygiene standards and understanding of BHS infection control policies and procedures

Evidence of willingness to work weekends and variable shifts as required 

Evidence of contribution to build a positive team culture

Excellent work ethic and time management skills.
