Customer Service Officer

The role

Customer Service Officer plays an important role in helping to achieve the profitable sales of Adbri Masonry products by delivering superior customer service.

We are looking for a friendly, versatile and reliable person to join our team at Hobart. This fast-paced role needs someone who can multitask and adapt to changing priorities.

Reporting to the Tasmanian State Sales Manager, you will be working as part of a friendly team who will help you learn about our products and systems. The role involves working in a busy front counter sales environment where you will be answering calls, serving customers, liaising with delivery drivers, and working with the production team to meet the needs of our customers and the business.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high level of customer service
• Answer customer calls professionally and efficiently
• Process customer orders
• Process customer returns/credits
• Ensure safety, health and environmental standards are maintained
• Raising purchase orders
• Data entry of product testing results
• Site administration requirements

What you will need to succeed

• Effective communication skills
• Always operate in a friendly and professional manner
• Willingness to be part of a dynamic team
• Ability to prioritise and think on your feet and show initiative
• Demonstrated high level computer skills
• SAP experience is highly desirable
• Building products industry experience desirable
