Yard Forklift Operator

We are seeking an experienced and reliable forklift/picker operator to be an integral part of our yard operations team. If you have the drive to learn and are looking for an opportunity to develop your career, this could be the perfect role for you!

In this full-time permanent position, you will be responsible for:

• Safely and efficiently moving masonry products around the yard and preparing orders for transport using forklifts
• Packing and assembling customer orders accurately
• Performing quality assurance checks on outgoing goods
• Assisting with general labor tasks like maintaining neatness and order in the yard and inventory
• Following all safety, health and environmental standards and procedures

To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone who has:

• A self-motivated attitude and eagerness to learn
• Strong communication skills to interact with various staff members
• Ability to load, unload, and move products safely with forklifts and manual handling
• Knowledge of chain of responsibility regulations and compliance
