About the Position

This is an exciting time to join us as we embark on our growth journey with several recently announced mergers. We are, therefore, looking to recruit an experienced Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Manager to help with our growth plans. 

This is an outstanding opportunity for an M&A and investments specialist looking to move inhouse

Overview of the Role

  • Actively hunting for new single site, and multi-site bolt on acquisitions
  • Identifying and working closely with our financial sponsors on more transformative opportunities
  • Acting as a lead across the deals pricing / identifying negotiation factors for purchase price and deal structuring 
  • Analysing financial and operational results of businesses to be acquired 
  • Project managing and coordination of the due diligence process across the various streams involved (Finance, Commercial, Legal)
  • Acting as an overall relationship manager with the newly acquired business and being involved across the integration with the Operations team.
  • Liaising with Marketing on ongoing campaigns to attract M&A opportunities

Your background

  • 4 - 8 years’ experience as a professional accountant, lawyer, or analyst
  • Practical valuation and/or due diligence experience is advantageous (be it in practice or industry)
  • Knowledge of healthcare and healthcare deals is desirable 
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and influence with strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Track record of demonstrating the ability to make a difference in past roles and ability to identify, model and contribute to growth
  • A team player, that can work cross functionally to support effective deal hunting and integrations.
