The Amberton is seeking an Assistant Venue Manager to join our awesome team.

The Amberton is part of the expanding family run enterprise Tillbrook Melaleuka Group (TMG) which includes C.Y. O’Connor Village Precinct (C.Y. O’Connor Village Pub, The Steak House, Tilly's Garden, Charlie's Paddock, Paperbark Burger Co), The Byford, The Wellard and Hybla Tavern (2022 AHA Best Bistro National winner).

The core of our family enterprise is our family farm located in North Dandalup, Melaleuka Farm. Supplying our hospitality venues, Melaleuka Farm's unique breeding program delivers ID traceable, high quality, healthy beef that is unique in its low melting point of fat. True WA Paddock to Plate.

Requirements & about you:

  • Minimum 1 years experience as an Assistant Venue Manager
  • Promote & build a high integrity work culture;
  • Contribute to a happy, safe and healthy working environment;
  • Someone who thrives working as part of a working team in a fast-paced environment;
  • A demonstrated understanding of food and beverage trends in the hospitality industry;
  • Availability to work a range of shifts;
  • Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills;
  • Rostering Skill;
  • Understanding of Kpi and budgets;
  • Proven record of meeting financial targets;
  • Ability to prioritise and multitask;
  • Sound knowledge of all regulatory (DRGL/OHS) requirements.
  • Strong beverage knowledge
  • Ensure stock rotation is adhered to by team members
  • Assist with ordering, receiving stock procedures, invoices management, transfers of stock and wastage control
  • Assist with staff training & development in regard to beverage knowledge and customer service
  • Assist with stocktakes, before, during and after as required
  • Upkeep of the beverage program standards - provide feedback and assist with implementation
