What the role is about:
- Lead and oversee kitchen operations across the three kitchens, ensuring efficient and high-quality food production;
- Develop and refine menus that reflect seasonal offerings, dietary trends and customer preferences, in collaboration with the Group Executive Chef;
- Maintain consistency in food preparation and presentation standards across all locations;
- Implement and enforce hygiene and safety standards in accordance with current health regulations;
- Manage food costing, budgeting, inventory control and procurement to optimise profitability;
- Recruit, train, mentor and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and professional growth;
- Collaborate with TMG and management to create promotional strategies and special event menus.
Who we are looking for:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar leadership role;
- Strong culinary skills with a creative flair and a passion for innovation in menu development;
- Leading by example, contributing to the daily operation of the kitchen ;
- Have the ability to get your hands dirty and willing to help out with whatever is required;
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills;
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage time wisely;
- Knowledge of current food trends, dietary requirements, and culinary techniques;
- Understanding and accountability of financial aspects of kitchen operations including food costing and budget management;
- Food Safety Supervisor certification and compliance with health and safety regulations.
