The role
If you have a passion for customer service and logistics and a talent for problem solving and prioritising workload, then this is the opportunity for you! We currently have an opportunity for an experienced customer service or logistics professional to join our supportive team and be responsible for company & sub-contractor tipper & tanker allocation.
We can provide you with training in all aspects of this role to allow you to develop your skills and succeed.
This is a permanent full time role primarily Monday to Friday with some Saturday work depending on operational requirements.
Based in Thebarton, SA.
Responsibilities
- Use software packages to allocate use of tippers & tankers
- Liaise with internal and external customers regarding raw material requirements
- Maintain service schedules and coordinate servicing for company tipper & tanker fleet
- Ensure Chain of Responsibility and other national heavy vehicles requirements are always adhered to
What you will need to succeed
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise work effectively in an environment of constant change
- Previous experience in a customer service/planning/scheduling function desired but not essential as training can be provided
- Computer literate with previous experience in Microsoft Office essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to build rapport with diverse people
- Understanding of national heavy vehicle law requirements desired (training can be provided)
