The role

Adbri currently has an opportunity for a Quarry Worker to join our team based at our Tinda Creek quarry in Mellong.

Our Plant Operators operate mobile and fixed plant equipment, including front end loaders, excavators, bulldozers, articulated dump trucks, dredge and wash plant.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safety, health and environment standards are maintained
  • Operate mobile and fixed plant
  • Undertake housekeeping, basic maintenance and general labour duties
  • Report Incidents/hazards to the supervisor

What you will need to succeed

  • Demonstrated experience in operating mobile plant and/or heavy equipment (preferred)
  • Current driver's licence and own reliable transport
  • Strong mechanical aptitude (preferred)
  • Strong commitment to health and safety
