The Role

Seeking a full time or part time (4 days) HR Consultant to join Source HR. As an HR Consultant, your client engagements will vary in duration, scope, and complexity, offering you the chance to work across different sectors. This role provides the flexibility to work remotely, in a hybrid setup, or on-site as needed from any of our HPX offices (Sydney, Newcastle, Melbourne, Perth or Brisbane). If you’re looking for a diverse and adaptable career, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

You will be responsible for:

  • Coaching leaders and managers on HR best practice in line with Fair Work principles.
  • Proactively looking for add-value opportunities to continually engage with your clients.
  • Confidently building and maintaining sound relationships with your clients to ensure retention.
  • Working with our employment law team to advise clients.
  • Effectively leading and delivering on ad hoc projects aligned with your skills e.g. training/recruitment.

We’re looking for someone who possesses:

  • HR generalist or specialist consulting skills and is client and outcome focused.
  • Outstanding stakeholder management skills and the ability to navigate multiple client requests concurrently.
  • Confidence leading and taking ownership when delivering HR advice to multiple clients at once.
  • Experience performing the full spectrum of operational and strategic HR duties.
  • Solid understanding of Modern Awards and the Australian Industrial Relations system.
  • Success with implementing and managing tailored HR programs or projects.
  • A career in HR supporting multi-sectors and different sized businesses.
  • The ability to be self-motivated and work autonomously, under pressure, and as part of a team.
  • A working style that is proactive, reliable, flexible, responsive, and adaptable.

What’s in it for you:

  • We take pride in looking after our people and are passionate about personal development.
  • We support you every step of the way from your first interaction with us through to your client engagements.
  • We will help you build on your strengths, appreciate your diversity, provide opportunities for your development, and challenge you to be your best.
  • A fun, collaborative and high-performing team environment with regular social events, training days and team retreats.
  • An extra week’s leave, as part of our employee personal development program.
  • Full-day birthday leave.
