About the Centre
Our facility features a 50-metre lap pool, learners pool and toddler pool. We also have a kiosk and shaded seated areas for families and groups to enjoy.
About The Role
As an operations (lifeguard) team leader at the Numurkah Outdoor Pool, you will support with day-to-day operations and oversee the lifeguard team, including recruitment, training, and scheduling. You will confidently support plant room operations and contractor systems, ensuring adherence to aquatic safety protocols like GSPOs, and leading the Health & Safety Committee. Responsibilities also include managing incident reporting, conducting operations audits. Additional duties include:
- General leadership within the operations/lifeguard team including assisting the Operations Coordinator in managing and developing the team
- Rostering and paying of staff
- End of month reporting & invoicing
- Coordinating with other centre leaders
This is a casual position with an hourly rate of $39.58 + super.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have strong admin skills, show attention to detail, and have experience leading a small team. You will have experience working as a duty manager or lifeguard and able to commit to a regular pattern of work, whilst being able to include additional rostered hours during seasonal peak times.
Essential Qualifications
- HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
- HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
- Aquatic Pool Lifeguard Certificate
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- Experience performing pool lifeguard and duty manager duties
- Understanding of risk management & basic OHS systems
- Aquatic Technical Operator Qualification
