Position Overview:

As a Speech Pathologist at ORS Group, you will be part of a national team of 40+ Speech Pathologists as well as working with our Early Childhood Supports division and the multidisciplinary team to provide clinical services to paediatric clients. You will work across early intervention, school age and adolescent services with clients who have various presentations, diagnoses, and disability types providing assessments, therapy, and support, tailored to individual needs. You will work across various environments, including family homes, schools, preschools, community settings, telehealth, and ORS offices. There are also opportunities to work across divisions including roles as Key Workers and Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualised therapy plans for children.
  • Provide evidence-based interventions and strategies to support swallowing and speech and language development.
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and other health professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of client progress.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • A relevant degree in Speech Pathology.
  • Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia.
  • A genuine passion for working with individuals with disabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A drivers licence and access to a car
  • A National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
