About the Opportunity
As a Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for general maintenance on bus shelters across the North West of Melbourne area and it surroundings suburbs.
Your Key Responsibilities will be a variety of task , including but not limited to:
- Maintenance of bus shelters within your designated area (glass clean up, fixing of seats, totem poles, bus shelter structure, insecticide/weed killing, and the overall general cleanliness of the bus shelter
- Graffiti and minor repairs
- Fortnightly posting of advertising campaigns as well as mid and special posts throughout that fortnight (including posting and maintenance of sites at shopping centres)
- Securing potentially hazardous sites
- Monitoring and reporting of damages and faults
ABOUT YOU:
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
- Confident in the use of basic hand and power tools
- Asset maintenance experience preferred but not essential
- Reliable and punctuality is a must
- Ability to understand and follow WHS policies and procedures
- Full Drivers Licence and have a clean driving history
- Ability to also pass a pre-employment Drug & alcohol check, driving history/licence check and reference checks.
