We’re on the lookout for a Senior Internal Communications Manager who is strategic, entrepreneurial, and hungry to make an impact. In this newly created role, you will be the go-to for delivering internal communications that connect our people through engaging internal events, town halls, video, emails, and newsletters.

You will also be a trusted partner to our executive team, providing both strategic guidance and operational support to craft impactful written and visual narratives that reflect the HPX story, values, and progress.

This is an opportunity for you to truly own and shape the internal communications strategy from start to finish, and to make your mark on a fast-growing and exciting organisation.

Your role

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive internal communications strategy across Australia and New Zealand, collaborating closely with the executive team to align with our goals.
  • Act as a strategic partner to internal teams, enhancing the employee experience by fostering a culture of inclusion, connection, and alignment with our mission.
  • Lead the development of content and presentation design for town halls and major internal events, ensuring they inspire and inform our team.
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to position HPX Group as a top employer by building a compelling employer and internal branding strategy.
  • Establish and promote best practices in internal communications, continuously improving our approach to keep employees informed and engaged.
  • Work cross-functionally with teams, including People, Marketing and Operations to develop communication strategies that drive engagement and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Provide counsel to executives and senior leaders, shaping impactful communications that enhance clarity and drive our strategic objectives.
  • Maintain and improve internal communication channels, including the intranet and newsletters, to ensure effective information flow across the organisation.

What you’ll bring

  • A strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong analytical skills.
  • 8 years' experience in communications, with a proven track record of producing high-quality content.
  • Exceptional collaboration and stakeholder management skills across teams, from C-suite to partners, lawyers and graduates.
  • Experience creating presentations, speeches, videos and creative content, ideally with experience using content management systems or intranets.
  • A keen eye for detail and strong project management, copywriting and editing skills.
  • Experience within professional services or in legal practice is desirable.
