The role

This is a 12-month parental leave cover contract position, reporting into the Chief Client Officer and can be based in Sydney or Brisbane.

As the Head of Marketing and Communications you will be responsible for the development and execution of the marketing and communication strategy across the HPX Group. Managing and mentoring a national team of marketing and communications professionals, you play an important role in driving business development and revenue growth.

This role will work closely with key internal stakeholders (Group Leadership, Hamilton Locke Partners, Source Principals, Helios Partners) who will look to you for commercial and insightful guidance. With a clean sheet of paper, you will have the opportunity to utilise your expertise in a consultative and innovative manner to make a marked impact on the business.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the role include:

 Marketing & Communications Strategy

  • Develop and execute the Group Marketing and Communication strategies across all brands to drive awareness, consideration and conversion, and support client retention.
  • Develop a compelling content strategy, delivering content across multiple channels as part of a sustained effort to build reputation, relationships, and revenue.
  • Use analytics and insights to inform the content strategy and identify next best step engagement with clients.
  • Set measurable KPIs for all activities and initiatives undertaken and demonstrate ROI.

Lead generation and digital campaigns

  • Collaborate with the business and Heads of BD to build strategies to support lead generation efforts across all Group brands.
  • Develop and execute on a digital campaign strategy in order to drive brand awareness and lead generation.
  • Use analytics and insights to measure engagement and ROI and optimise campaigns.

Content Development

  • Collaborate with the business and Heads of BD to identify key issues facing clients across sectors and key growth areas.
  • Develop a content pipeline and create engaging content (in multiple formats) centred around the issues that resonate with our target audiences.
  • Use analytics and insights to measure engagement and ROI and adapt content pipeline.

Social Media and Website

  • Proactively drive the social media strategy to support BD, marketing and communications objectives.
  • Oversee all social media accounts, including monitoring engagement and interacting with our audience.
  • Use analytics and insights to review and update campaigns and maintain engagement
  • Draft high quality, engaging content for social media channels.
  • Manage the external website, including drafting high quality content.
  • Monitor website analytics and share insights with the BD team and stakeholders to support client engagement.

Media

  • Maintain strong relationships with and proactively pitch to business and legal media, delivering positive coverage and minimising any negative mentions.
  • Develop and execute the HPX press strategy.
  • Develop media campaigns for new partner appointments, acquisitions and new product and service offerings.
  • Oversee and draft media releases.

You have a strong background in Marketing and Communications, with experience managing a high performing team. Experience in an organisation where growth and pipeline has been a focus is highly regarded as well as experience in a professional service or B2B environment.
