As a Senior User Experience Designer, you will oversee and lead the design process of products or services. You will be responsible for developing and implementing design strategies, conducting user research, creating wireframes and prototypes, and ensuring the product meets the needs of both users and stakeholders. Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the design team. Key skills include strong leadership abilities, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and deep knowledge of design tools and technologies.
- Pay Rate: $65.00/hour
- Assignment Length:1 year with the high possibility of extension based on performance and other factors.
- Shift Details: Monday - Friday | 8:00am - 5:00pm
Responsibilities:
- Drive the UX design strategy in alignment with business goals and user needs.
- Lead user research and user testing initiatives.
- Brainstorm design ideas and identify opportunities to improve user experience.
- Collaborate with product team to define design requirements and project scope.
- Participate in and organize design workshops that drive discovery to better understand user’s needs.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to communicate design concepts and interactions.
- Apply user-centered design principles and industry standards to advocating for the user throughout the design process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional managers, engineers, and designers to ensure design feasibility and consistency.
- Confidently present UX/UI design decisions and rational effectively to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Document user research, design decisions and recommendations.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior user experience team members.
Experience & Skills:
- 5 to 7 years of experience working on complex web experience with medium to large teams, preferably in an enterprise environment.
- Highly proficient in human-centered designed principles, user research, usability, and accessibility.
- A strong portfolio with design examples demonstrating all phases of UX methodologies across multiple projects.
- Expertise in Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud suite and Microsoft suite.
- Solid foundation in Agile project methodology.
- Preferable: previous experience in creating digital solutions for the Oil & Gas industry.
